At the bottom of every cup and bowl at San Francisco’s Cafe Gratitude, the question “What are you grateful for?” A great question for us to keep in mind always, and especially during this Thanksgiving week. I’ve posted it on our Cruelty-Free Faves Facebook page, and I hope many of you will add a comment. Let’s create a long list together of things we’re grateful for!
I say a prayer of thanks each day for my family, our health, our home, our opportunities, and for my family of friends. I am blessed to be surrounded by people who inspire me, who are creative and kind, and for the moments we share together. This holiday, I’m especially grateful to be spending the day with so many family members gathered together.
My wish for each of you is that, wherever you will be tomorrow, you will feel surrounded by love.
A Prayer of Thanksgiving
For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food,
For love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.
(Ralph Waldo Emerson)
Happy Thanksgiving! Facebook Fun
I’ll be posting a picture of my pumpkin pie masterpiece. If you cook up something delicious and cruelty-free for tomorrow, please share with the rest of us by posting a picture on the Cruelty-Free Faves page. Have a great holiday, everyone!
